Welcome to this week's Parkland Post!

Welcome to this week's spotty, stripy, pyjama-filled Parkland Post!  The autumnal weather has definitely set in this week; well done for getting your children into school each day and on time.  Our Training Day on Monday was a huge success as all of our staff went to different academies across the Trust to develop their skills in the areas they lead on.   Next week, Year 5 will be going on a trip to the Royal Armories on Tuesday, some of our Year 5 and 6 pupils will be taking part in a Cross Country event at Co-op Academy Priesthorpe on Wednesday and we will have our usual Celebration Assembly on Friday morning at 9am.

Attendance Matters!

This week, our whole school attendance was 93.17% which is lower than last week and is a fair way from our target of 96%.  The children who won on our attendance wheel in assembly were so happy with their prizes!  Remember, you have to be in it to win it!

Year 6 were our winning class and they won an extra playtime as they were above 96% and another extra playtime on the Attendance Wheel!

Please make sure your child is in every day and on time so they don't miss out on any essential learning.

Children in Need Day

Our children looked incredible in their spots, stripes, pyjamas and Pudsey clothing.  The day began with our BIG Family Breakfast - it was lovely to see so many of you joining us for a bacon or sausage sandwich.  The raffle was won by Lilly, Tommy S and Bridie-Mae; thank you to everyone who filled our bucket and helped to raise £171.81.
